As a project manager, Patricia has perceived that her empathy and emotional intelligence allow her to understand both the team members and the client, which facilitates an atmosphere of trust and honesty in her projects, both being essential for creativity and innovation focused on client satisfaction. As a Spaniard living in Germany and as a professional in a male-dominated environment, she values diversity and the potential we lose when we surround ourselves only with homogeneous people. As a consequence, in recent years, her great passion is to empower the countless skills of young girls and women by inspiring them especially in mentoring programmes to motivate them to make the most of all their abilities in their personal and professional lives. She works as a volunteer to raise the visibility of female professionals in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) fields in initiatives such as Cybermentor in Germany and STEM Talent Girl together with Inspiring Girls in Spain. In 2022 she launched the Female Empowerment Program (FEMP) for female project managers of the Diversity Circle in PMI Germany Chapter e.V. and later re-launched it in collaboration with PMI United Kingdom Chapter and has served as a multiplier for similar programs in PMI Northern Italy Chapter and PMI Czech Republic Chapter.

Through these experiences, Patricia has discovered the transformative effect of such activities on women around the world and is now daring FemPowerXChange to increase the audience of women (not only project managers) who can benefit from her background and knowledge to enhance their lives both professionally and personally.
